Massie And Alicia Chapter Summaries

The story starts out with Alicia in dance class with her friend Olivia. Massie is not in her dance class which makes her the most popular and bets dancer. After dance class is over Alicia starting to think about why Massie always is the boss and gets to push her around. Olivia and a couple of girls begin to convince her to have a sleepover on Friday, but Alicia knows that Massie always has her sleepovers on Fridays. After much thinking she agrees to have a sleepover only with Olivia and the other girls, but is afraid of the outcome when Massie finds out so she keeps it a secret and tells Massie she cannot ride with her due to a “doctor’s appointment” to try and ignore her in till the time is right to tell her.
The next day at school, Alicia is talking to her friends. Olivia not knowing that Alicia hasn’t told Massie, Kristen, or Dylan comes and blurs out the Alicia is going to have a sleepover in front of Massie. She freaks out with anger and calls Alicia an EW (Eternal Wannabe). Massie leaves with Kristen and Dylan leaving Alicia feeling guilty. Now she wishes never said yes to having her own sleepover.

As Lucinda is congratulating the girls, Alicia worries about Massie finding out that they have cheated but tries to get rid of the thought. Lucinda offers both girls to a photo shoot near Christmas. She asks to find a few friends to be in the shoot but Alicia knows she can’t ask Massie, Kristen, or Dylan. When Alicia is done at Teen Vogue she calls up Massie and brags about her photo shoot. Massie knows that Alicia has cheated and decides to sabotage her photo shoot by calling Lucinda and act like it was Alicia and say that she found some girls to participate in the shoot.
