Massage therapy is a practice of accredited professionals of massage to accomplish better health conditions and well-being including functional, physical and psychological consequences. As an associated health and alternative or complementary medicine practice, massage therapy includes several types of massages that are originating from Eastern and Western practices by using numerous additional modalities of therapy such as acupuncture, energy therapies, reflexology, craniosacral therapy, Rolfing and etc.

So, massage therapy treatment is prevailing in the world as a management tool for ADHD. In most of recent studies, adolescents with ADHD who received ten massages for two weeks, rated more content than those who did not take part in the massage therapy. Actually, ADHD is a mental disorder that causes less attentiveness and response to a given task or any activity. Therefore, treatment of the disorder mainly focused through massage and other non-medication treatments. Patients subjected to ADHD should be treated with massages and pediatric therapies as it is a related treatment for mental disorders and with prompt results.
