Currently, I expended 18 years of my life advancing my education and developing and perfecting my skills for my future career goals. Following high school, I attended the Colorado Institute of Massage Therapy to complete a one-year condensed certification of 1,500 hours of massage therapy and a certification in neuromuscular therapy. After completing the massage therapy program and passing the Colorado state test, I received my massage therapy license. Today, I have been practicing massage therapy for eight years. In 2011, my fourth year in massage, I concluded that the massage therapy field was not satisfying my aspirations of advancing within a company and that massage therapy wasn’t providing a secure future for myself.
