Massage Envy is where my internship is taking place. I am a licensed Massage Therapist and have been for about three years. When I first heard of the professional internship with the department of communication studies, I was uncertain if my job would even qualify. As it turns out my job as a massage therapist, is what the internship considered to be in the field of health communications. I was surprised to find that a job that I have done for so long could be seen from a communication standpoint. With my new found knowledge, I began to pay closer attention to my daily interactions and activities.
