This ideology is promoted proudly in the number of programs the NRA has to offer in order to promote gun safety through education in America. These goals appear to be lost in the political game that has become
American legislation, being overshadowed by new laws or regulations that must be argued over.
The Coalition was founded “to secure freedom from gun violence through research, strategic engagement and effective policy advocacy” (Coalition to Stop Gun Violence About Us). These goals are lost in the lack of respect for and the blind dislike of everything that the NRA does within the Gun Control Lobby. There are decisions that cause pitiful fighting between two of the biggest political power groups in the Lobby, but both are too thickheaded to realize that if they work together the dream of a safer America can be reached.
