Abraham Maslow (1908 - 1970) was a psychology professor who founded the Humanistic Psychology field. In 1943 he published a paper called "A theory of Human Motivation" in which he first supplied his hierarchy of needs idea.
Maslow grouped human needs into 5 classes...
* Physiological desires are the simple factors the human frame needs to survive. those are food, water, and sleep.
