The piece Mask Series No. 10 expresses strong complementary hues, such as the light pink that runs into the dark pink to create the background as the colors leap off the canvas. There are two types of lines that are present in this painting such as actual line and implied lines.Actual lines expressed are in the background and towards the foreground like the dark pink and orange adds another horizontal line. Implied lines present are the two peoples eyes staring at each other. The use of a hierarchical scale deliberately uses a relative size to communicate the importance foreshown in masterpiece by artist Zeng Fanzhi. The emphasis and focal point is the faces as the man on the left deliberately has his arm reaching for his face adding a robust vertical line. The architecture of the Hamilton building was spectacular and unique opposed to the North building. The Hamilton building was more open and enlightening but the North Building was close quarters. In addition the audience of the Hamilton building was many families with young children while the North building was a much older crowd. The Hamilton also had more chances to interact with the art such as the exhibits that you can create your own piece of art and the fact that you can show how you feel with some of the art pieces when the curator adds the opportunity to put a color coordinated bead in the containers. The Crucifixion and the Mask Series No. 10 were displayed differently due to the fact that the North building had more colors, the Hamilton building was neutral colored.
