This wonderful quote was from the amazing actress Mary Tyler Moore. Mary Tyler Moore was an actress who was known for her witty comedy in the 1960’s and 1970’s. She is known for her work on The Dick Van Dyke Show and The Mary Tyler Moore Show. She is also involved in charity work leading us to the conclusion, Mary Tyler Moore is a fantastic actress and a even better person.

Moore was born on the crowded streets of Brooklyn, New York on December 29, 1936. She was born to a store clerk, George Tyler Moore, and his wife Marjorie Hackett. She was the oldest of her three siblings Liz Moore, Elizabeth Moore, and brother John Moore. When she was

In the mid 50’s she started dancing on Happy Hotpoint Home Appliance commercials. Soon, she married her first husband, Richard Meeker in 1955. Mary had her first and only child with him, Richie Meeker Jr. After seven years of marriage, Mary and Richard split it off.

In 1961, Mary had her debut movie ,X-51. The movie caused Mary’s dancing career to fail, but it caused Mary’s acting career to take off. Only a year after her first marriage Mary had gotten remarried to her second husband Grant Tinker. Two year after that, Mary had gotten on The Dick Van Dyke Show. On the show she played Laura Petrie housewife to Rob Petrie (Dick Van Dyke). In 1966, the show ended and a new chapter in Mary Tyler Moore’s career begun.

Together in 1969, Grant Tinker and Mary Tyler Moore had created a the production company, MTM Enterprises. MTM Enterprises produced many shows including The Bob Newhart Show, Remington Steele, and Hill Street Blues. The company also produced the show Mary Tyler Moore is best known for The Mary Tyler Moore Show. The Mary Tyler Moore Show started in 1970 and of course starred Mary Tyler Moore as the working class woman, Mary Richards. The show sadly ended in 1977.
