-Marion Anderson, was the first African American singer to sing in the New York City Metropolitan Opera in 1955 (Bibliography.com Editors, 2015).
-Her major contribution to history was singing at the Lincoln Memorial for Civil Rights and made a huge statement in this era.

-Kelly Garrison was a collegiate gymnast from the University of Oklahoma, an Olympic gymnast for team USA, and has been a popular face for women’s gymnastics in America
-Her major contribution in history was being the first college athlete to make a USA Olympic team.
-Her impact on today’s societal view on women in a sense paved the way for other female gymnasts to be creative and successful.

What impact would limiting women's access to birth control have on Title IX? -The impact that limiting the access for birth control for women would be gender discrimination and would go against everything that Title IX is meant for. 2. Name three steps that athletic directors could take to hire and retain female coaches for all women's teams in the future. How will those steps differ from the way male coaches are hired today?
