The foundation of an educator is to educate. They are to educate the basic essentials needed in life. In addition to Bethune’s work as an educator, she did much to contribute to the American society at large. She held the position as president of the Florida chapter of the National Association of colored women. Her work as an educator was to teach the importance of what and who you can become. In order to succeed you must be slightly prepared with the basic of education.
