Mary Magdalene Research Paper

Mary Magdalene is well known to many people. She is mentioned a few times in the New Testament. She has a questionable persona before she was first introduced. She is mentioned in the canonical gospels. She is an eye witness to multiple documentations about Jesus’ life in the ministry, death, and resurrection. Mary was was in a town called Magdala. Stated in the article about her childhood and early life here is not documentation in the Bible about “her birth, parentage or family status”. There are theories that Mary was a prostitute before Jesus came into her life. The reason being for this theory is because she never married or had children. Mary is known to have “seven demons” (article). She had suffered from seizures that are described but at that time she was believed to be possessed by the devil. In “Luke 8:1-3, there is a passage where Mary Magdalene had seven demons cast out by Jesus” (article biography online). Jesus was known to help the sick, dying and exorcism. One of the four miracles was exorcism because the power of God is greater than evil.
