Mary Kay started a company in 1963 with a5,000 investment. Today, Mary Kay Cosmetics is a Huge company worth millions and millions of dollars. Mary Kathlyn Wagner (Real Full Name) was born in the state of texas in 1918. For most of her childhood, she helped her sick father while her mother worked long hours at a Restaurant type place. Mary Kay married Ben Rogers when she was 17 . They had 3 children , 2 Boys And 1 Girl. Oldest Son (Richard R. Rogers) Middle Child (Ben Rogers Jr.) Youngest And Only Girl (Marilyn Reed). They Had Their Children before he left home to serve in World War Two. When he returned, their marriage ended. So Mary Kay had to go out and find a job so that she could support her children. The products were made by her father, J.W. Heath, in Arkansas. Mary Kay fell in love with the skin care products because it made her skin feel so good. Mary Kay was so good at selling home care products her bosses and co-workers praised her work. But That's all they did they never increased her pay or gave her a higher job position. So she left the company after a man she trained was given a more important job than she was given. Mary Kay said that she learned from this experience. And It Was that it showed her that men did not believe that women could succeed in a business. So she decided that she was going to prove them wrong. So she bought the rights toMisses Spoonemoore’s Father skin care products and started her own company. She only paid $500 For legal rights to his product . Mary Kays Cosmetics Company Opened In Dallas, Texas in 1963. Mary Kays 20 Year Old Son Richard Was The Companies financial person in charge. The idea was to sell the skin care products through demonstrations in homes and different offices. Now Mary Kay Cosmetics is one of the largest sellers of skin care products in the world. Mary Kay also is a very good writer , Mary Kay Ash wrote three books. The first book, “Mary Kay,” told the story of her life. More than\a million copies in several different languages have been sold. She described her business ideas in the book “Mary Kay on People Management.” Her third book was released in nineteen ninety-five. It is called “Mary Kay You Can Have It All.”
