The mother of Mary Jane Veloso, the Filipina who was convicted by the Indonesian government for a drug-related case, has expressed her gratitude to the Indonesians who have shown their support to the woman despite her present condition.

In an article written by Natashya Gutierrez for Rappler on January 11, it was disclosed that Celia Veloso has recognized how the country's people have taken care of her daughter even though the latter is behind bars.
