The person I selected is a very familiar person to yours truly. A family-oriented, hard-working, and modest individual. I have known him ever since he was young. His name is Marvin P. Adriano. To get into his position, an individual must be a graduate of a computer science or related Bachelors of Science in Math. Having a computer working experience was a requirement. The continuing education was not mandatory but an individual’s preference. Because of his experience, loyalty, and hard work, he was offered to be a manager. At that time, his preference was to be an individual contributor to be able to continue his passion in programming a business mobile app. During the interview, Mr. Adriano discussed a little bit about Microsoft’s HealthVault and how Microsoft is exploring and developing Kinect for operating remotely by doctors. He loves his job, but if there will be an opportunity, he would like to explore other avenues of the information technology world. One reason he likes his job is the flexibility. He can stay at home or go somewhere and continue doing his work anytime. He is thinking of pursuing his Master’s to be able to be more competitive. Mr. Adriano shared how he manages stress as well, he either gets a massage or surrounds himself with his good friends whenever he feels stressed out.
