There are two companies that are at the top of their league in the entertainment business. Marvel and DC. Each company has their own similarities and differences, but which one takes the cake. Marvel has a unique and bright tone while DC’s is dark and gloomy. Marvel is behind the amazing heroes like Spiderman, Hulk, Wolverine, Ironman and much more. On the other hand, DC is the creator of Superman, Batman, Flash, and the list goes on. When hardcore comic nerds must choose between Marvel and DC they'll, realize Marvel is the best decision because of its variety of options and entertainment. Marvel has unique characters in their arsenal. Marvel develops their characters in an interesting manner. However, in DC it's always the same old generic process, become a superhero and beat up villains. Also, most of DC’s heroes are overpowered god like beings that don’t face the consequences of a human. Some of these include, Superman, Martian …show more content…
They are both really rich, no superpowers and depend on their suits; However, they have different personalities and back stories. Bruce Wayne (Batman) is straightforward and serious. Tony Stark (Ironman) is more uplifting and positive. Wayne can be basic and even egotistical. When asked what was his superpower, Bruce replied with “I’m rich” and shows off his fancy gadgets (Youtube 1:30). This alone shows the lack of Bruce’s character development. To the contrary, Tony is charismatic and more of a role model figure. He never gives up on his teammates and puts his life on the line. Furthermore, the both heroes are founders of a group. Bruce is the founder of the “Justice League” and Tony is the founder of the “Avengers”. Both groups were made to save the world. The Justice League lacks teamwork and communication. Teammates act often independently; however, The Avengers are more effective, they focus on their main objective and use teamwork to defeat the

In order to save the "dying" city of Gotham from the criminal underworld, poverty, and corruption within the police department, Bruce returns to the root of all his misery as a changed man; the identity of Batman was established to prevent anyone else from experiencing the pain and suffering he had endured as a child while the normal Bruce Wayne returns to his "throne" at Wayne Enterprises in order to gain the funding needed for new technology such as the bat-mobile and upgrading the suit as well as using his influence to support individuals such as Harvey Dent who had gained the title of the "White Knight" due to being able to achieve justice during the day without a mask. Despite his vigilantly approach towards establishing law and order, Batman is able to maintain his sanity by acknowledging a specific honor code that prevents him from using deadly force or resorting to killing criminals such as the Joker despite his ruthless and unpredictable nature to harm others for his own enjoyment. What makes Batman an ideal hero is his heart and courage because he refuses to be thanked or acknowledged for his role in justice. As a result, Bruce Wayne actually tries to distant himself from the caped crusader by essentially hiding in pain site and acting like the cocky "Billionaire Playboy" who…

Everyone wants to be a superbeing for the powers, and if you ask them which one they fantasize of they'll probably name their favorite. They'll throw out names like Spiderman, the Hulk, or even the Joker, but very few would name a superhero like Ms. Marvel. Who would ever want to be a superhero who was losing her powers and a raging alcoholic, even if it were just for a day? Well, that singular person who has both heard of Ms. Marvel and would choose to be her over any other superbeing is me. I'm a little (read: a lot) obsessed with history, real or fictional, and the history of Ms. Marvel is fascinating.…

Before the semester started, I assumed everyone communicated with each other using the same language, or even body movements, but as time progressed with our fandom assignments, I realized the community that shares the same fandom can say terms or phrases and they will understand each other. For example, when I hear the quote “With great power comes great responsibility.” For most that share the Marvel fandom, the majority will be able to reply back where that quote came from, which is the “Amazing Spiderman.” Before the remake. When the course first started, my research involved the search engine “Google” but with low results of what I was searching for, however I did learn how Marvel first started as well as their comeback when they almost…
