Maruti subsequently got the order of 900 cars and they are ready to deliver successfully on time. But the conflict arises during the inspection phase where each and every vehicle needs to be tested by Q&A team of Army. Due to this delivery date passes and vehicles are at the Maruti facility. Maruti had already set up their perceived values i.e. egalitarianism and thriftiness, so with this some of the manager are not satisfied and they keep on doing the things in their own way, later they have asked to leave the organization.
Self efficacy theory:
▷ The theory says about the self belief, which is an individual’s belief that he/she can do the task.
▷ In Maruti this theory well suits Indira Gandhi’s self courage and belief about setting up of Maruti firm. Even after the expiry of Sanjay Gandhi she consulted some legendary people with the help of Arun Nehru and finally managed to achieve what was Sanjay’s dream.
Managerial Skills:
▷ The efficient function of top management in an organisation always holds the credits that it earns and also it is responsible for company’s reputation come credibility.
▷ Maruti was managed by two persons for around sixteen years, Bhargava and Krishnamoorthy both had no experience in the field of automobile.
