Michele’s death was initially said to be caused by a heart condition combined with hypertension with no further evidence. They stated her father had planned the whole incident by telling Michele to get a face lift, then in her recovery he began to over medicate her, causing her death.

The next witness was Martin son’s girlfriend, who he had called to flush the pills Michele had been taking down the toilet. The next witness called was the surgeon who Martin had convinced to prescribe her the pills due to him being concerned about his wife. The most important factor to this case was uncovering that during this time, Martin had a mistress. Her name was Gypsy Willis a woman that Martin had met through the internet a year before his wife had died. Martin had moved Gypsy into his home and said she was to be the new nanny. Martin and Gypsy had then been sentenced to jail after stealing the identity of Martins adopted daughter in order to pay off Gypsy’s
