Martin Luther King's Speech On Being Free And People Being Created Equal

Martin Luther king wrote a speech about people being free and people being created equally. It also talked about how the African Americans lived their life being treated different and what they would do. Some of this stuff is still happening to the day but back then it was very bad and people were very prejudice. Martin Luther king wanted to say this speech and write it so that people could think baker creating everyone equally and not have to deal with segregation. King said, “Let us not seek to satisfy our thirst for freedom by drinking from the cup of bitterness and hatred” (7). That quote is basically saying that people shouldn't act mean and rude to others but that you should be nice and let people have freedom.
