The first reason why Martin Luther King would have a made a perfect candidate is, he was the mouthpiece for many individual. King’s ability to speak in front of others inspired society to do and say certain things without having fear in their minds. Not only did he have the power to speak strongly for his people but he persuaded numerous groups of people in society to have the same understanding that he had obtained. He was brave for fighting against the system so that all color people can be a single unit, instead of creating a barricade between the black and the whites. Although knowing the huge amount of racism and backlash he would receive, it did not stop King but encouraged him to stand up for the African American people. Martin Luther King change the course of history by saying what was on his mind and he did not care about the consequences; therefore, risking himself for the equality of others. The final reason why King should have been eligible to become president is he was a great leader. Martin Luther King cared about doing the right thing and he proved himself by risking his own self for the life of his people. He did not like the idea of one group acting pessimistic to another group so he took action and decided to change people’s perspective. Martin Luther King was a great leader and a intelligent man because he had a goal set; furthermore, he was not going to give in unless his duty was fulfilled. Even though fighting against the system is not an easy situation, it might be a fearful thing but he embraced it
