Martin Luther King: The Many Traits Of A Hero

We already know the many traits of a hero however, what about the opposite? A hero is a person or even an ANIMAL that helps someone in times of need. Heros are unexpected because people don’t know what or who is going to save them but heroes are all the same. A hero is a leader, hardworking, and inspiring, but heroes are not dictators, lazy, or someone you can’t look up to (uninspiring). First, a hero is a leader but heroes are not dictators. According to Biography.yourdictionary.com, “Martin Luther King Jr. led a Montgomery boycott for equal rights on bus rides.” (Biography.yourdictionary.com). This means that Martin Luther King Jr. peacefully protested about equal rights on bus rides while facing the burdens of people who disagreed with Martin’s beliefs. However, a hero is not a dictator. According to, Cnn.com “Kim Jong Un executed almost 300 people since he came to power.”(Cnn.com). This means he had people killed for reasons like “bad attitude.” This is not …show more content…
One example of being an inspiring hero is people like ourselves. According to Boredpanda.com “Anonymous people dressed up as fictional heroes and went out to feed the homeless”(Boredpanda.com) This means that people went out and helped the homeless population by feeding them. This heroic because they are helping people and they inspire people to do the same. However, a hero is not uninspiring like a bully. According to psychologytoday.com, “Bullying is a distinctive pattern of harming and humiliating others, specifically those who are in some way smaller, weaker, younger or in any way more vulnerable than the bully” (Psychologytoday.com). This means that bullies hurt people that are smaller than them causing emotional and physical problems. This is not heroic because heroes don’t hurt innocent people because if they did the would not inspire people because it is wrong. Therefore, heroes are inspiring but they are not
