Martin Luther King Jr.- Martin Luther King Jr. was born on January 15, 1929 in Atlanta, Georgia. King later lived in Montgomery, Alabama. Advocates of The Montgomery bus boycott formed the Montgomery Improvement Association, King as the leader. One of his most famous speeches was his “I Had a Dream” speech. Also, he participated in the March on Washington in 1963. He was killed by James Earl Ray. Martin Luther King died on April 4, 1968 in Memphis, Tennessee.
