Son of Martin Luther King Sr. and Alberta Williams-King, Martin Luther King Jr. was born on January 15, 1929. Martin Luther King Jr. grew up with his brother Alfred Daniel and his sister Christine. Growing up as a child, he lived in a segregated society. Martin was not allowed to play with his white companions. Their parents did not allow it. He did not think that it was right.
