Son of Martin Luther King Sr. and Alberta Williams-King, Martin Luther King Jr. was born on January 15, 1929. Martin Luther King Jr. grew up with his brother Alfred Daniel and his sister Christine. Growing up as a child, he lived in a segregated society. Martin was not allowed to play with his white companions. Their parents did not allow it. He did not think that it was right. That had started his education in discrimination at such a young age. At the age of fourteen, King was interested in public speaking, and went to college at the age of fifteen. Martin Luther King Jr. became a preacher, he was very gifted. Growing up in that generation, he never liked segregation and did not want people to agree with it. When king went into the north
