He was born in Atlanta, Georgia. Martin Luther King Jr. was known as a Baptist Minister and a Social Activist. From the mid 1950’s until his killing in 1968, he played an important part in the American Civil Rights Movement. King was the most important voice of all the American civil rights movement, which worked for rights for everyone.
As a person, he has mainly contributed peace to the world. He has made a huge impact on how people see others. Since the mid 1950’s all he has done is make great changes
