Martin Luther King Jr. was a very intelligent and straight forward activist. He was born in Atlanta, Georgia on January 15, 1929. He played a vital role in the in U.S. history during the civil rights movement. If it weren’t for his motivation and dedication, segregation may have lasted longer than it already should have. Martin Luther King Jr. wanted equality for all African Americans. He stood for what he believed in and changed the world for the better. He couldn’t his journey in effort to better the world little by little until he was assassinated on April 4, 1968. He made great contributions to this world and he will always be a part of U.S. history.
