Martin Luther King, Jr. had a good childhood growing up. First of all, King was born in Atlanta, Georgia and he was born in 1928 on January 15 at his family home (Carson 13). He lived, with many family members which included his parents Martin Luther King Sr., and his mother Alberta Williams King, his two siblings Christine and Alfred Daniel Williams King (Carson 18). King took piano lessons in his childhood. King loved playing football and basketball (King 3).
