Do you think if he had not done that, what if that was still going around. It would change a lot. Martin Luther King was born on January 15, 1929. He was the middle child. Between an older sister and a younger brother. He liked to sing at his church. He became a member of Junior choir in his church. King suffered depression throughout his life time. When his grandmother died from a heart attack Martin tried to commit suicide from jumping out of a two story building and survived. A fifteen year old schoolgirl in Montgomery Claudette Colvin would not give up her seat to a white man. Rosa Parks did the same thing as her she would not give up her seat on the bus to a white person in Montgomery. It lasted 385 days. That is more than a year! It became so tense that King's House was bombed He married Coretta Scott and had four children.Two of the medals he earned was Nobel Peace Prize and Presidential Medal of Freedom. One of Dr. King quotes says “We have been in the mountain of war. We have been in the mountain of violence. We have been in the mountain of hatred long enough. It is necessary to move on now, but only moving out of this mountain we can move to the land of justice and brotherhood and the kingdom of god. It all boils down to the fact that we must never allow ourselves to become satisfied with unattained goals.
