Martin Luther King Jr. was no stranger to justice. He fought wholeheartedly to end segregation. It is the enforced separation of different racial groups.“The Civil Rights Act of 1964 established that public facilities, including commercial enterprises such as stores, restaurants, and theaters, must provide equal access to everyone, regardless of race, color, religion, or national origin.” (“Civil Rights”) All races were now allowed to go anywhere they wanted without being discriminated. Dr. King also fought hard for African Americans to get voting rights. The Voting Rights Act of 1965 banned literacy tests for voters, and in 1968 the Supreme Court struck down the use of poll taxes. (“Civil Rights”) Thanks to Dr. King, African Americans are now able to vote, and full legal equality is enforced to the highest. In the eyes of Dr. King, God created all of us
