My school is made up of joy, learning, teaching, new experiences, and friends conversing together about daily life. But despite all of these spectacular things, a huge portion of my school, is made up of problems. Some of these include bullying, immodestly, disrespect of both students and teachers, vandalizing of school property, swearing, harassment, and you get the picture! Martin Luther King Jr. and other blacks faced problems, just like me, and every other person on this planet. Everyone has problems, but Martin Luther King Jr. had a big problem that he would become notorious for facing; racial segregation.
Dr. King was aiming for nonviolence and peace between our nation. Just think if you were different, and people were casting you out, making fun of you, thinking you weren't normal, and making you do almost everything separately from them. Wouldn't you feel bad and start doubting yourself? He wanted people to instead of trying to defeat or humiliate the other person, to befriend them and build strong relationships with them. He didn't want people to always be separating themselves from other people because they think they are better. He wanted people to become selfless and care about other people.
