Ethics is important in our daily lives, most of the time ethics are influenced by the people around us. For some people doing the right thing might see as doing wrong. Sometimes is difficult to differentiate situations from right versus wrong. This remind me of how Martin Luther King went to jail for unjust laws, that inverted because of his professional leadership. Therefore it is important to listen carefully and asking the right questions in order to determine the right solution or approach to an issue.
There was a case that I personally know, last summer I started working at this company in the administration department. Since it’s divided by cubicles, we feel secure that we leave our personal stuff in our small office. After two weeks some of my coworkers started to notice that some of their stuff were missing. One of them had cereal bar, other foods and fruits in her cabinet. There were traces that her food was ate by another person. The funny part is that she had a banana in her cabinet which it was left intact. They perpetrator only ate the candies and cereal bars. This not only happen on the cubicles but also on the closed offices too were the managers usually lock their doors. We started to investigating, even though it is food or candy, it doesn't seem right to eat or grab other than your personal belongings.

The amount was more than $20. This issue got bigger from just grabbing food to stealing money. Since there is only three people who worked for so many year at the company have a copy of the key to executive office door, they were seem to be suspect. Later on we found that during the night there were changing the window glasses at our building. The suspect change to the night workers.
