Martin Luther King was one of the most impactful civil rights leader. "Martin Luther King was born in Atlanta, Georgia, in 1929 and attended the city's segregated public schools." MLK excelled in school and he decided to follow his father into the ministry. As he earned a doctorate in theology from Boston University. King has been placed as a Baptist minister at the age of 18.

King's gatherings was mostly made up of anti segregation activists. King then joined the activits, organizing a boycott of Montgomery's segregated buses. The boycott forced the city to desegregate their buses. King and his activits won, but that was just the beginning. In 1957, King organzied the SCLC for non violent but direct protest, organizing marches,
