On October 31st, 1517, Martin Luther stapled his 95 Theses to the door of the Wittenberg Castle Church. These 95 pages were meant to rebuke and correct the church. Luther, a monk, had spent much time studying the Bible and God’s law. When he discovered that the church was performing many immoral traditions and seeking money instead of souls, the past lawyer could not stand idly by. Because of his brave actions, Martin Luther was a hero for the work of Christ.
