Also, the money that the people hold in Polk County is low with thirty percent receiving some type of financial assistance. Property taxes for the new school would also go up ten percent making the county need to find another way to receive money for the taxes. Pleasing the county is crucial as administration is working the options out, but also the county workers must do what they deem necessary for the kids and what can work financially. Serving the public is first priority, but ethically sounding, this option does not look so good if you are a county resident.
Cost: Ranked as Fair(1). The cost to have this body of action might come pricey, but again having this new school looks great for the administration.
Community Support(2): Ranked as Fair. There will be people who do not support this option, but again there must be some of Polk County who support this especially when there is a re-vote.
Creating this last option for trying to build a new school includes poor qualities such as representing the county and ethically serving to their best ability. The costs lay out around the same as option two and same for community support. Overall, this option lies right under option two, but if we want what is best, then this is not going to end up right for the county.
Through all three options, one can see that the strengths and weaknesses of each vary and making this decision is tough, but with the overall rankings having Lease-Purchase with 12 points, it becomes our best option. This option does not have the best rankings, but to fix the problems with Martin Elementary, it does not really matter if we please everything and everyone in this county
