Hiker's Decision to Stay Put Was the Right One: At First Geraldine Largay of Tennessee, according to her personal journal became disoriented July 2013 when she left the Appalachian Trail to use the bathroom. She was 66 years old, and an avid hiker. A report released Wednesday, May 25, 2016, by the Maine Warden Service stated that Geraldine Largay became lost after leaving the Appalachian Trail in Maine. For the interview process, the two people that I interviewed were Martha Millison and Cecilia Rivas. Martha Millison is a school counselor at Green-Wood Charter School in Philadelphia and Cecilia Rivas is a CUA chief management supervisor. Jespersen v. Harrah’s Operating Company 2006, the plaintiff Darlene Jespersen, was dismissed from her position as a bartender at Harrah’s Reno casino. Both men and women had to follow a particular dress code; black pants, white shirt, a bow tie, and black shoes. The grooming standards were different for men and women. Jespersen refused to follow the makeup requirement stating it made her feel degraded and forced to be feminine. On March 9, 2016, Rachel Warris, a 40-year-old Allentown woman was convicted of involuntary deviate sexual intercourse with a person under 16 years old, statutory sexual assault, corruption of minors and indecent assault. The boy was a friend of Warris’ son who often visited her home to play. Now 14, the boy described to the court that Warris performed oral sex on him while he was over at her house. Warris denied these charges but did admit that she did jokingly flash the boy and her son her breasts. The case involving Sandra Bland and the Texas trooper Brian T. Encinia has been analyzed but the proof of Bland’s death still remains a mystery today. The case involving Bland and Encinia started when she was pulled over during a traffic stop. Encinia and Bland both escalated the situation that led to her arrest and later death.
