Research of Mars would be be harder since the sun would be blocked out for a long, long time. It would also affect many other things such as some of these catastrophes. The article “What Would It Take To Live Here?” shows, “These storms kick up lots of thin, sticky dust that could damage equipment and if a storm were large enough, block out sun for days. This would be problematic if colonist were to use solar panels-equipment that turns sunlight into energy-to power their colony.” There is dust everywhere in Mars, which makes the taste buds taste rusty old metal that is impossible to get rid of. The terrible dust also gets everywhere and it feels like the dust is living inside of you! It may cause problems in people’s systems but it is yet to be confirmed. The science fiction story, “Follow The Water” claims, “It’s everywhere. In your eyes, in your ears, in your hair. Even your belly button.” The author also claims,”And it’s impossible to get the taste out of your mouth-rusty, like you’re losing a …show more content…
Also exploring another planet would be cool and exciting to find another life different from we humans. Sure those are good ideas but some people don’t believe it would end well. Think about all of the risks humans have to deal with just to find out ways to survive and make a living on Mars. Earth might not end in a long time depending on space but do we really have to do these ridiculous actions? There are volunteers that are willing to leave Earth but they would never be able to set foot back on their home plant. It is dangerous, Mars has things that we do not know about and will not know about ever. Even if our humankind wanted to go explore Mars think about the hurdles they have to go through, from medical problems to never coming back, to never see their faces ever again, is devastating. However, not everyone disagrees with the idea of going to a faraway planet called Mars. Mars is a planet that would take months to reach from Earth. Perhaps the reason many people disagree to explore is because of the danger Mars poses. Living on Mars is super hard because of the impossible agriculture, deadly storms, and a higher rate of dying. Maybe in a few years time when people know much more about Mars, an expedition would be greatly improvised. Although for now, it is best to keep low and observe more about the
