The Marriott is a large hotel chain that incorporate a lot of different amenities and prices that should suit most stakeholder’s needs. One of the things that can be appreciate from the Marriott is how they treat their employees and their family and friends. Another factor that can be appreciate by stakeholders is Marriott being a global hospitalities company. This means that stakeholders can be anywhere in the world and travel to more 122 countries and territories to book a stay with Marriott. Marriott vision is “to be the world’s best travel company’’ (Marriott International, 2018). This hotel chain thrives on putting people first which is one of their core value and making the Marriott hotel chain a place one can call home away from home. …show more content…
The vision statement is appropriate for the organization because it provides continue growth and success for the organization. Their vision statement puts them in a position to always embrace change and the ambition to pursue nothing but excellence which is Marriott core beliefs. The vision statement is appealing to stakeholder on a cognitive and emotional level because as one customer stated she was impressed on how clean the room was and the peaceful atmosphere. The customer also loved how the housekeeper left a handwritten note telling her to enjoy her days. The front desk staff was very attentive and she didn’t feel rush when checking in (TripAdvisor LLC, 2018). The is the kind of service that would be appealing to any one cognitively and on an emotional level. Having the will power to be the world’s best travel company comes with the acceptance of changing when necessary. As stated in the previous paragraph Marriott like the idea of the AC and wanted to make business travel more modern. In 2017 Forbes named Marriott one of the world’s most innovative companies. Forbes believes that innovation has always been a part of the Marriott story (Marriott International, 2018). Marriott wants to connect with guest anywhere so they introduced a personalized app experience with mobile check-in, mobile requests, and mobile key (Marriott International, 2018). Creating different mobile apps was a great move for the Marriott organization because it keeps them in the circle with our tech savvy generations. The Marriott wanting to be the best in hospitality is the same as Children’s Hospital wanting to be the best national known pediatric healthcare facilities. Both organizations have a need to put people first so the best service is render. Children’s Hospital and Marriott International both accelerates in their innovation research national and globally to maintain sustainability in their industry. Maintain sustainability and maintain the relevance of the company goals to excel made both organization top news in Forbes and U.S. World News.
