Marriage In the country you were born in might be different from marriage in another country even though some things might be similar but at the same time very different as well. Like in homo religious, the people at that time told a story about the same way but they all had different beliefs about what they were drawing on those walls. For example America and D.R.C, these two places are very different in culture but some of their belief system in marriage are quite the same like they both have three stages that they have to go thought which is a proposal, planning, and the wedding ceremony.

The bride has a bride shower that allows only her girlfriends to come and some of them bring gifts to congratulate the bride for her big day, which is the next day. In America, they throw uncooked rice at the wedding ceremony that is a way for them to wish the groom and bride good luck in their new journey. The bride tosses her bouquet over her shoulder to the unmarried woman and whoever catches it will probably be the next to be married and the groom toss the garter he got from his bride over his shoulder as well to a luck unmarried man.
The Congolese do not usually wear the traditional white dress for the wedding ceremony they wear something called pagne that comes with all kind of different styles of dresses. The Congolese do not have bachelor parties for the man but they do have a wedding shower that allows everybody to bring gifts to the couple. The wedding ceremony usually takes place in the bride father’s house outside in big canopies. They would also have many different foods out there in the canopies.
