THE JUDGMENT SEAT OF CHRIST AND THE MARRIAGE SUPPER OF THE LAMB

“For we must all appear before the judgment seat of Christ; that every one may receive the things done in his body, according to that he hath done, whether it be good or bad” (II Corinthians 5:10).

“Let us be glad and rejoice, and give honour to him: for the marriage of the Lamb is come, and his wife hath made herself ready. And to her was granted that she should be arrayed in fine linen, clean and white: for the fine linen is the righteousness of saints. And he saith unto me, Write, Blessed [are] they which are called unto the marriage supper of the Lamb” (Revelations 19:9, 10).

For this reason Jesus warned,

“And take heed to yourselves, lest any time your hearts be overcharged with surfeiting, and drunkenness, and cares of this life, and so that day come upon you unawares. For as a snare shall it come on all them that dwell on the face of the whole earth. Watch ye therefore, and pray always, that ye may be accounted worthy to escape all these things that shall come to pass and to stand before the Son of man” (Luke 21:34-36).
Hundreds of thousands of believers will be left behind due to their failure to heed this warning and that day will catch them unaware as they will be paying attention to the cares and pleasures of this life.

Sad to say that, they will only come back to their senses after the sudden and unexpected disappearance of multitudes of Christian believers.

(ii) A thief comes to steal that which is costly.

There is no stupid thief that can risk his life to steal something cheap. Likewise, at rapture, Jesus is coming to snatch up believers who have been purchased “not by corruptible things such as silver and gold, but by His precious blood” (I Peter
