When my father was nineteen he was married to his first wife, and like so many others before him regretted the decision and divorced. We hear see this a lot in this day and age, where a parent was going to/ or did marry young and it turned out disastrous. Through seeing generation x fail through time and the rising divorce rates, it has spread an uneasiness around this current generation. Children look up to their parents and to see them not be able to make a marriage last imprints on them. Now people are marrying in a lot older age with the fear that the marriage will not work out. Knowing that the 50% chance that it won 't work out is a possibility and that one day they may not love their significant other or vice versa their spouse will not love
