According to my personal experience, roads of Maroubra beach area can meet the basic needs of people living in surrounding communities. I have already lived here--a house not far away from the beach for over half a year, and the bus that I take every day would always go through Marine Parade, which is the main road just behind the beach. Fortunately, I never have the chance to experience traffic jam on this road even during peak hours.

Marine Parade is a north-south road that is almost parallel with the trend of the beach, intersecting Maroubra Road to the north and Fitzgerald Ave. to the south. Both Maroubra road and Fitzgerald Ave. extend westward until intersecting with Anzac Parade, which is a major road through the southeast suburbs of Sydney. It stretches from Moore Park to the north and La Perouse to the south, passing through Little Bay, Chifley, Malabar, Matraville, Maroubra, Kingsford and Kensington sequentially from south to north. In addition, both the north and south sides of the Commercial Centre of Maroubra Beach have a pavement go through Marine Parade, which perfectly connecting the Commercial Centre and the beach.

Parking space
Parking always be a key issue when people visit some busy areas. Maroubra beach also facing the challenge of the lack of parking space in public holidays and weekends. There are four major off-street parking lots near Maroubra Beach as follows:

Location Description
North Beach and Rock Pool parking lot It is a little bit far from the central beach, but close to the Mahon Pool. About 100 parking spots has been marked.
Central Beach parking lot It is located at the opposite of maroubra beach commercial centre, near the Maroubra Beach Playground and Skate Park. About 210 parking spots including few spots for the handicapped has been
