Adjacent to this scene was a scene of his nephew, Fred, a group of his close friends were at his dwelling, discussing about, Scrooge. Fred kept describing him as a dreadful old man who had not a single good cause for his money, and you would be scared if you saw him at night. But after describing him as a penny-pinching, run-down old man, he stated that Scrooge was his only family and he would drink to his health no matter what. Scrooge felt regretful of being so rude, and felt remorse for not taking care of his one and only nephew. After viewing that scene, the spirit moved on to show Scrooge,Ratchet’s family Christmas-eve dinner, where Ratchet praised Scrooge as a benefactor of his family and drank to his health. Even though Scrooge had been so rude to his family and him, Ratchet still praised him and drank to his health. After seeing this scene, the spirit moved on to show Scrooge Fan’s family; his once to be love. Fan was watching her children do a dance together as they waited for their father to come home with their presents, and when their father came home it was none the less than Dick, a used-to-be best friend, but ended up being an unprofitable dream. While bearing the accompaniment of that mysterious spirit, he is shown what life is like in the near to far future; what life is like without him, and what he has caused because of his stingy and money-grubbing attitude and nature. He sees glimpses of scenes; one of such is of what people think and say about him after his death. A group of men begin talking about him among themselves and one of the men asked the other who would even attend his funeral, one man said that he would not mind going if lunch was provided.
After the last spirit had left Scrooge, he immediately began to abandon his old ways, he became really generous, and bought gifts for his clerk; Ratchet, and started openly rejoicing. Now how did this change of such immensity occur? Through Scrooge seeing his own actions in several scenes of his life, several times during and in the future of his life, he was able to pick out how money and assets influenced his life so greatly and how they caused him to be so malicious, and
