This house is always dark and cold. I’m stuck in place, right in the middle of an annoying wall, named Whall. “Hey Window I think Scrooge is coming!” Whall still hasn’t realized that he doesn’t need to yell. I wish I had eyes so that I could’ve give him a death glare. Wait, how can I even see?! How am I even talking, so many questions... I see Scrooge walk in and instantly he locks the door, checks under the bed, and looks in his closet. I have a feeling something weird is happening.

“I’m-” Scrooge opens me before I could finish. I look outside to see ghosts wailing and flying, one was crying over the fact the he couldn’t help some lady on the street. I try to scream but nothing comes.
“Window? Window!” Whall’s voice is filled with worry. I can’t respond to him, the shock keeps me from responding. When Scrooge closes me I manage to say a shaky “I’m fine.”, and that seemed to relieve Whall. Scrooge goes to bed and time seems to warp. Not seemed time was actually warping! All of this is making me dizzy…
Its eight o’clock and Scrooge is kneeling on the floor hugging his bedpost. I have no idea what happened last night. I want to see if Whall knows what happened but Scrooge comes over and opens me. He is joyus as he asks a boy what day it is and when he tells the boy to fetch the prize turkey. Whatever happened last night seems to have made Scrooge’s attitude

The two scenes are similar in many ways, like how there are many differences between the scenes in Charles Dickens novel and the play version, such as in the novel, which was the original work, while others later turned it into a play for their own profits.
