The most serious problems at Marlboro Middle School is that people feel left out of a certain group, people disrespecting each other, and stress. The first issue is that people feel left out which is one problem in our world that cannot be fully solved, but at Marlboro Middle School we can start including people from around our school and include them to feel safe in our school environment. Another issue is that people disrespect each other sometimes on purpose, others unintentionally. One way to help students at Marlboro Middle School to prevent getting into trouble from discourtesy is to think about how they would feel if that were to be said to themselves. Lastly, a common issue at our school is stress. In any school there are tests, quizzes, projects, homework, etc. which is a lot for a student to handle. One can never completely solve stress because it is all over our modern day world. When dealing with a lot of stress there are many things to calm someone down and get motivated to do their work.

There is always a way to help towards these following problems; being left out, disrespected, and stress. Even though it may seem very hard to find help, there is always something there. No one can solve these problems completely, but you can make it easier for yourself and others around you.

Goyal does a fairly good job of touching on the topic of school-related stress. He brings forward many examples of how many schools have changed. However, he only brings up a small variety of causes for stress; there is more to it then just early start times, tests, and AP classes. While these do contribute, the overload of homework and sometimes intense sense of discipline can push any child to become stressed in their school environment and that is not talked about. That aside, though, his writing effectively gives those older a glimpse of what stress for students is like and that surely does not go unrecognized and could even pave the way for further reforms to be made.…
