My four months at Aces In Motion (AIM) has been a growing experience, both personally and professionally. Professionally, as the marketing intern, I have had the opportunity to manage and maintain all of AIM’s social media accounts (Facebook, Twitter, Instagram), by posting video and photos of all the accomplishments and various day-to-day activities that happen at the center. Along with maintaining the social networks, I have continued to create marketing plans for sponsorship and donor campaigns, as well as, work on my final exam assignment for Aces In Motion, which is a comprehensive marketing plan outline that can be utilized next semester or the future for new and updated marketing plans for the organization. I believe that with the research that I have done to create the most inclusive and detailed marketing plan outline for Aces In Motion that the outline should be a great tool for creating any future marketing plans. In the marketing plan, I have given an in-depth review of Aces in Motion’s background, history, mission, and values. In addition, each of the 21 sections of the marketing plan from the table of contents to the ideas of improvement includes detailed descriptions of what should be included within each of the corresponding sections. I have had the opportunity to tutor students, mentor, manage social media, and create sponsorship and donation documents to bring in revenue to continue to increase the wonderful work that Aces In Motion is doing for children in East Gainesville. I have not just had the responsibility of managing the social media accounts for the organization, but I have also had the pleasure of working with and for a wonderful group of staff, volunteers, and participants at Aces In Motion. Working at Aces In Motion has given me the confidence and confirmation that sport marketing is not just a career that I want to pursue, but a passion of mine. Due to the success that I have made during my four months at Aces In Motion, I am glad to announce that I will be returning in the Spring semester to continue my work as the marketing intern.
