(Tesla.com/Directors) His main duties for the compnay are being responsible for the way the mangement, operations, and investments departments run. Antonio has over fifteen years of experience in investing. His experience in investing includes private equity, real estate transactions, and public equity. Antonio was also serving as a member and founder of MG Capital in the year of 1995 to the year of 2000. (Tesla.com/Directors) Antonio served as a Chief Executive Officer in a company known as Industrial Powder Coatings Inc. Mr. Garcias was an associate for Sachs and Co, in New York. Antonio contributes in a lot of various groups and organizations; One example would be that he is a member of the board of directors for the Grand Victoria Foundation, a member of the board of trustees of the Illinois institute of Technology, and much more. Antonio has his B.S. and M.S.F.S. honors degree in International Finance and Economics from the Georgetown School of Foreign Service. He studied corporate structures and economic development at the University of Waseda in Tokyo Japan. Mr. Garcias also holds a J.D. from the University of Chicago Law School. Therefore Tesla has several board members to lead and advise the different departments at Tesla Motors. We should also take into consideration that the reason as to why the board of directors are comprised of the various members is because every single person is unique. As stated in the previous paragraphs, every board member has a different type of educational background and leadership experience that is used to help run the company efficiently. Like for example, Antonio Garcia 's educational background and experience in finance and economics allowed him to be useful in roles such as reviewing and monitoring financial audits for internal and external company reports . Another example would be the company 's CEO Elon Musk. With Musk 's educational background in economics, physics and his numerous financial investment achievements throughout his lifetime, it can be clearly identified why Elon Musk was chosen to be the CEO of the company. With each Board member bringing their individual experiences into their top leadership positions at Tesla Motors, the company as a whole will benefit and be more successful and can look forward to possible expansion in the years to
