Although true scientific research is ongoing regarding the biological aspects of aging, it is the marketing of anti-aging products and services that are at the heart of the ethical debate on aging.
The ethical considerations associated with the anti-aging debate is that aging is painful, costly and often associated with disease (Mykytyn, 2006). Proponents of anti-aging argue that the benefits of products and services to fight aging are worth the resources invested.
