I found myself interviewing with those in top positions in some of San Diego's top digital marketing companies, and with every interview I became more and more confident that I would land that position as a content marketing manager.

It took me three tries to pass the test, but I got my inbound marketing certification.
Though, even with my inbound marketing certificate, which to a digital marketing agency amounts to having a certificate in being able to color inside of the lines, they wanted someone with "agency experience."
