o INTRODUCTION

Apple was found by Steve Jobs in the year 1976 along with Steve Woznaik and Ronald Wayne. The apple made its entry in to the market on April 1,1976 by selling Apple I personal computer kit but it wasn’t until the launch of iPods that the apple company caught the market and made huge profits. As of current it is the largest information technology company in the world by revenue and second largest mobile manufactures in the world. Apple launched their first iPhone in the year 2007 which was known as the first generation iPhone. Apple launched their first smartwatch on September 2014 which caught attention of the market as it was the best-selling wearable device and sold 4.2 million watches by the year 2015.

It is a touch powered multi-functional watch. This is the first out of the box innovative product launched after the death of founder Steve Jobs, Tim Cook who is now the CEO of Apple, introduced the watch as the “Next chapter in Apple’s story”. Its main focus is to run health-benefited apps and keep track of fitness. The Apple watch can also be used to make calls and text by wirelessly connecting it to an iPhone.

o MARKETING OBJECTIVES

The marketing objective is to bring a new feature by adding a camera which will increase the sale of Apple watch. Through proper advertising the Apple watch can double its sales and compete better against its competitors like Huawei, Sony and Samsung.

o MISSION STATEMENT

A mission statement is describing a company’s function, competitive advantages and market in a short written statement.

Apple designs Macs, the best personal computers in the world, along with OS X, life, iWork and professional software. Apple leads the digital music revolution with its iPods and iTunes online store. Apple has reinvented the mobile phone with its revolutionary iPhone and App Store, and has recently introduced which is defining the future of mobile media and computing
