Compare And Contrast Samsung And Apple

Many of the advertisements that are made nowadays are mostly about competition or about making the rival company look bad. When you think about the competition in the technology area, the first two companies that come up in your mind are Samsung and Apple. When the Samsung Galaxy S III was released, many of Apple’s customers turned to Samsung phone because of the Galaxy’s new features. Then, they started to make advertisements that were appealing the customers to buy their smartphone rather than the other company’s smartphone. Although the advertisement created by Samsung and Apple are informative of their product, and are promoting reasons to buy their smartphone, they are also making an effort to make the other company look bad. One major way Samsung and Apple tries to appeal to their customers are by informing and promoting their phones to the customers by telling them what qualities are better in their phone. The advertisement does this by showing the phones, and letting the customers know what they can find in the phone if they buy it. Also, if you compare the two advertisements together, it is noticeable that the features listed on both of the advertisements are similar halfway, and then in the bottom …show more content…
Apple and Samsung have been in business for a long time. Although Samsung did not make smartphones since the time they started the company, but now one of Samsung’s biggest sellers are their smartphones. Another thing that Solomon mentions is that a lot of American’s tend to waste their money on clothes, or stuff that isn’t really necessary for them, but they do it anyway because it represents the typical American family. This is true because if you apply this to the situation between Samsung and Apple, it is noticeable that the latest smartphone isn’t a basic necessity, and if someone doesn’t have it doesn’t mean they are less
