Most adverts ordinarily have those flamboyant graphics that try to simply grab a hold of anyone for no other reason other than to get the money out of their pocket for a product they more than likely don’t need. Dodo Juices Advert seems to do exactly the opposite of that by using only a single graphic of the product itself on a white background. The graphic is even covered by large plain white text stating “ITS ALL ABOUT THE CONTENTS”. They continue to go against ordinary advertisement sales strategies by including a fairly large amount of text that is small unadorned black text on a white background. They don’t clearly point out or direct their advert towards other companies as if they were trying to call them out, but rather they seem to hint at it by saying what the product they sell isn’t. Dodo Juice indicate this in the advert by stating “Rather than bottling cheap bulk products and selling them to the gullible, lazy, and easily-led.” Implying that they’re not like every other company that does create cheap bulk product. This also leads me to believe they silently put a ultimatum in the consumers mind by making them think if they bought any other product beside Dodo Juice they would fall under the category of being “gullible, lazy and easily-led”. So in order for car care enthusiasts to be intelligent, industrious, or discerning they have to purchase Dodo Juices products only. This continues to show that Dodo Juice is reaching possible consumers in a logical way by warning them of other companies “cheap bulk” products.
Ultimately, Dodo Juice creates a successful advertisement that may connect to consumers on a rational, logical, and sensible way. Appearing honest and caring, Dodo Juice steps out of the boundaries of typical and common adverts and uses few to no graphics with a lot of text, focusing on product quality, and making insinuative comparisons towards rival companies to create an unordinary and successful
