The building management system is meant to control all the electrical and electronic equipment in a building (Shang et. al, 2014). The building management system produced by Digi Tech is the Safe Home D34. This product is still in the prototyping stage, thus will be available for sale after 3 months. The advantages of this product is that is compatible with all security and energy systems produced by the company. The Safe Home D34 will enable the customers to control all systems in their premises under a single platform. The disadvantage of this product is that it is only compatible with the company’s systems and those from selected high-end suppliers.

This strategy will offer low product prices for the products during the first 2 years then increase the product during the third year. The bundle pricing strategy will also be used, offering discounts for customers who purchase multiple security and energy systems. The last penetration strategy to be used by the organization is the after sales customer support, which will involve free installations and services for one and a half years after purchase.

The company will use its website and social media pages to sell the products and avail online ordering. Third party distributors in the construction industry will also be used to sell the products to the customers.
Communication and Product Promotion Strategy
Digi Tech targets mature home owners and commercial property owners. The company will communicate to them by the use of its website as the main source of information and set up call lines where the potential customers can inquire about these products. The mainstream media, that is, the televisions, radios, and newspapers, and billboards will be used as the main advertising platforms. Company representatives will be attending construction industry and electronic security systems industry workshops to pitch the products for the potential commercial property owners.
Overall Sales Strategy
The sales team for Digi Tech will be outsourced from sales support organizations. The sales activities need to be top-class to ensure that maximum customers are reached by the company. Currently, the company does not have strong sales support team hence outsourcing will prove to be economical and efficient to achieve the company
